After playing mas with the Toronto Revellers for four years, Stacey became a section leader in 2011's Scotiabank Toronto Caribbean Carnival. The "Wicked Revellers" (Stacey & colleague, Sonia Bhatia) continue to support Indian and Caribbean musical and cultural events in the city, year round.

 

Previous Musical Involvement in Toronto

Dedicated to growing and developing Canada's urban culture, Stacey was one of the team members responsible for re-establishing the FYI (Follow Your Instinct) Showcase in 2010, giving urban rappers, vocalists, and musicians the opportunity to audition and showcase their talents in front of a supportive audience.

 

UMAC (The Urban Music Association of Canada) is committed to enriching and nurturing Canada's urban music industry through education, and providing resources and support to urban artists/musicians and their networks. Stacey served on UMAC's Board of Directors from 2008 to 2010 as the Operations Coordinator, and also the Membership Director.
